Deborah Tannen, Ph.D., is Professor of Linguistics at Georgetown University and author of bestsellers TALKING FROM NINE TO FIVE and THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT! She has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Rockefeller Foundation, and the National Science Foundation. Dr. Tannen's work has hit a special chord among all those interested in the interpersonal skills of communication.
